I can't see straight and I can't see my hands as they're moving in rhythm in front of my face, and they're tracing the patterns of lights that I saw in the room that I stayed in the two nights before.

Icicles grow at the ends of my feet, and the heart that I have steady stops and repeats, and the world's long exposure in front of my eyes, and I can't feel my sides, and I can't feel my sides.

Tenuous tenements tend to cause tensions, with tense tenants telling the tales of their dwellings, and Tony Montana's been sighted inside, he's surrounded by pigeons with wonder-wide eyes.

And I wonder why as I'm staring intently, I've taken a chance on this friend of a friend, and he's ringing the bell, and he's telling us gently that playtime is up and there's no room to stay.

So we're out on our arses and out 'til the morning, and mourning the cans that we spilt in the doorway. These last fetid dregs are the final reminder, the night that's behind us is pouring away.
